Three-part series which sees the This Morning presenter visit the Cape of Good Hope. Phillip Schofield has been lucky enough to travel the world but has never been on safari until now. Together with his wife Steph, he travels to a game reserve to try and catch a glimpse of their two favourite animals – giraffes and rhinos. After an early start, Steph is reduced to tears when she sees a giraffe up close for the first time. Phillip is invited to take part in a conservation project to protect the rhino population. Rhinos are on the most endangered list and they are being killed faster than they can breed. Working with an anti-poaching unit, there is some incredible footage of a helicopter driving the rhino toward Phillip in his vehicle. Then Phillip steps out and attaches the tagging device to the animal’s leg, before helping to administer an injection – and there is an amazing surprise still to come.
